Interview: Casey McGarr of McGarr Creative
Casey has been in the graphic design profession for over 17 years, and has worked for KWGC, Fossil Watch and Arthur Andersen (as the Art Director for the Southwest Region designing web environments for clients). Casey has won numerous awards and has been featured in many of the leading design magazines. Casey teaches Art Direction II at Collin County Community College for the past 4 years.
In 2001 Casey established a letterpress business, Inky Lips Press. He concentrates on posters, invitations and any other unique pieces that keep the presses active. Casey’s hand carving of linoleum or hand setting metal and wood type keeps the craft alive.
Casey splits his time between designing for his clients and printing on his letterpress(es). Listen to the Interview:
