Veer Stock Photo Research Super Hero
Tell me if you have ever done this. Your on a tight deadline (are we not always on a tight deadline?) and you download a bunch of comp images for the project. You place them in your layout and send it off to the client. Time moves on, you sleep, you have a life, and suddenly the client approves the design. OK, now it is time to purchase those comp images, but, oh no, in the flurry of getting the design out you did not mark the comps or build a light box. What do you?
I was in this position, and called the Veer Images help line. I was blessed to get the assistance of Christy Herdman in the research department. I had posted the images I needed on a web site so she was able to see them. She told me they normally had a 24 turnaround, but she would see what they could do. I had less than four hours to pull together the final design into production, so I started to look through the site myself.
I love Veer’s images and rely on them for stock photography, my only criticism is that could tag their images better. Also, if they could group images that use the same model that would be a huge help- OK, enough with the rant.
After 30 minutes from when I called and made the request I checked my email. WOW- there was an email from Christy at Veer with the listings of the images. She also set up a lightbox making it easy to purchase the images.
Excellent job Christy thanks for being my Veer Super Hero!
